During this time the Safeguarding mailbox will be unavailable, and the Safeguarding line will only be available at limited times between 12pm-2pm, Monday to Friday. What you'll do as an Ambassador
- Attend career events to showcase our opportunities and interact with potential candidates.
- Present at schools and various events sharing your experience and the benefits of apprenticeships.
- Collaborate with fellow ambassadors on various projects to promote QA and apprenticeships.
- Engage with candidates, guiding them through the application process.
- Employability workshops to help people kickstart their career online and in person.
- Support us to create engaging content for social media and take part in national and local campaigns.
- Create inspiring case studies and videos with QA's marketing team.
- Represent QA when communicating with stakeholders, emphasising apprenticeship benefits.

Give it a Go Day in partnership with Microsoft
At our recent event in partnership with Microsoft, we invited school pupils to one the Microsoft office for a tech insight day. Ambassador Fiona shared her inspiring story and aspiring apprentices had the opportunity to sign up for apprenticeships on the spot.
Ark Academy Trust employability day
We welcomed students from different schools across London, into our Head Office. They engaged in an interactive workshop focused on crafting their CVs and receiving valuable insights on interview preparation within the tech industry. Louis, one of our ambassadors, generously shared his personal journey and actively contributed to facilitating the workshop sessions.
EmpowHer online workshop
Hosted to inspire women interested in tech to break down barriers. Ambassadors Georgia, Rebecca and Olivia hosted the workshop, with one as the host and the others participating in a panel discussion and engaging with the audience. Attendees had the chance to register their interest for an apprenticeship thereafter.
Speed Networking Event with The Black Apprentice Network
We organised a speed networking event in collaboration with Amazon. This initiative aims to provide support to individuals of Black Afro-Caribbean descent. Candidates had the opportunity to participate in networking sessions at the Amazon HQ, where ambassadors from various companies were present to represent their organisations.
Ambassador requirements
- Be a current or former QA Apprentice.
- Seek approval from your employer to join the programme.
- Attend a one-day training session provided by QA. We will explain everything you need to know about being an ambassador, we will provide you with public speaking training and give you the tools to enable you to be the best ambassador you can be.
- Commit to a minimum of volunteering 15 hours over 12 months.

- Once your application is submitted, a member of our team will reach out to schedule a one-on-one conversation with you to learn more about yourself.
- Following this, we'll request a reference from your employer and cover the costs for a DBS background check.
- The final step involves attending training sessions, after which you'll be fully equipped to be an ambassador and create a meaningful impact.
