In a recent QA article, we looked at the need to become an ‘Organization of the Future.’ and how organizations are having to ‘re-imagine’ themselves and define new ways to adapt and prosper. Organizations must adapt to the ‘New Rules’* by evolving into a new shape – and by deploying a new series of skills and capabilities.

The ‘New Rules’ will continue impact every organsition - large or small - and every organsition will need to find different ways of acquiring the skills and capabilities needed. But when staff at Specsavers pitched-up for what they thought would be a standard Personal Development training day, no one thought they would be entering the Crystal Maze…

Ready for the future through the ‘Crystal Maze’

Specsavers wanted ‘something different’ and they wanted it to be a surprise! So when QA were given just 5 weeks to deliver a program of bite-sized learning over the course of a day, it was quite a challenge. So QA set about providing 10 subjects and facilitated ‘self-selection’ using a theme similar to TV program, ‘The Crystal Maze’, as teams worked together to achieve their aims.
