Cultivating a skilled workforce through apprenticeships at DXC Technology
The challenge
DXC Technology recognised the need to cultivate a skilled and agile workforce aligned with business goals.
In 2018 they started an apprenticeship programme with QA. This strategic response aimed to address challenges in talent acquisition, particularly for specialised roles, by nurturing talent from the ground up and providing them with the training needed to excel.
The programme evolved and grew into an overall academic programme in 2021 and at the start of 2024 went through a transformation making it even bigger and better.
The solution
Working with QA as their apprentice supplier and trainer enabled DXC Technology to achieve two goals: To develop individuals for specialised roles and to contribute to workforce sustainability. QA’s tailored approach ensures DXC apprentices receive relevant, high-quality education and that both the apprentices and the company receive exceptional support throughout the process, from recruitment to training delivery.
