Multi Factor Authentication requirements

Please be aware, effective October 2024 all Microsoft Administration portals for Azure and Microsoft365 will require the use of Multi Factor Authentication in order to access. This includes via the CLI.

As a learner, what do i need to do?

As this course utilises Azure and/or Microsoft 365 administration portals you may be asked to setup MFA as part of the lab activities for your course.

In order to complete the labs for your course you will need to provide a device that supports an application, such as Microsoft Authenticator, to enable you to setup MFA for your course. Your instructor for the course will provide details for setting up MFA for lab credentials as the course commences.

Therefore, you must ensure that you provide a device, such as a mobile phone, that is capable of supporting these MFA requirements: either installing MFA software such as Microsoft Authenticator onto your device (prior to attending the course), &/or adding an account to an existing installation when the course commences.

This is in addition to any other technical requirements that you may have for your course.
