Multi Factor Authentication requirements

Please be aware that from October 2024 all Microsoft Administration portals for Azure and Microsoft 365 will require the use of Multifactor Authentication (MFA) in order to access them. This also applies to the command-line interface.

As a learner, what do i need to do?

As this course utilises Azure and/or Microsoft 365 administration portals, you may be asked to set up MFA in order to do the course labs.

You will need to have a device, such as a mobile phone, on which you can install the Microsoft Authenticator app (or similar MFA software).

Please install MFA software (e.g. the Microsoft Authenticator app) on your device before the course, if it's not already installed. Your instructor will provide details for setting up MFA on the app at the beginning of the course.

This is in addition to any other technical requirements that your course may have
