Overview

This short course is designed to provide essential AI literacy training to all staff who interact with Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems and need to understand the emerging rules that we will be expected to comply with.

We are at the beginning of a great digital change caused by recent developments in AI – learning about AI is key to trusting and adopting new systems to safely embrace the opportunities it brings.

AI has been around for more than 50 years, but it is a priority now because recent advances in computing, large quantities of data, and new automated processes have led to major breakthroughs. Generative chat tools are an example of AI – they have caused excitement and lots of discussion in the media as people begin to envision the amazing opportunities that might now be possible.

AI is a worldwide priority, not least in the EU and affected markets following the entry into force of the EU AI Act. There has been international cooperation over the definitions and rules for AI and people and businesses are now adapting to ensure they work within new rules.

AI Literacy training is mandated within many legal and regulatory frameworks. However, rather than seeing this course as adding to mandatory training programs, it’s important to remember that to enable change we need to embark on a learning journey.

This instructor led course includes interactive activities and low-stakes assessments throughout to bring your learning journey to life with engaging and inspiring content.

If your business would like to tailor this course with content that is specific to your organisation or policies please contact us to discuss our learning solutions.
